Y7 Royal Wedding Party

Year 7 students at Colston’s Girls' School celebrated the Royal Wedding on Friday with their very own party. After debating questions such as whether or not we still need a Royal Family in this day and age and if Meghan Markel will bring anything new to the Royal Family, the students changed into their red, white and blue party outfits and tucked into CGS’ own celebratory cake.

John Whitehead, Principal of Colston’s Girls' School said,

“These national events are an opportunity for the young people at CGS to come together to reflect on and discuss the country’s history & the values that we have in common. They are also a chance for the students to consider the relevance of the monarchy in 2018 and whether it can adapt to the needs of an increasingly diverse society"
