ASSISTANT HEAD OF HOUSE
Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week), term time only to start as soon as possible.
VTG9 Scale Point 26-29, £24,343 - £26,999 per annum pro rata (actual salary £19,794 - £21,954 per annum) + Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package).
Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

In Colston’s Girls’ School all pupils will achieve to the best of their individual ability. As members of ‘Green Schools’ with a focus on languages, pupils will develop an understanding of their position in the wider world in preparation for life as global citizens.
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head of House to provide learning, mentoring and support for students in the house under the general supervision of the Heads of House as well as general administrative support for a Head of House/Assistant Principal.
The successful candidate will have:
• Been educated to a high standard with a minimum GCSE grade C in English and mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).
• NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline.
• Good telephone manner
• Experience of general clerical/administrative work
• Ability to minute meetings and produce comprehensive minutes.
• Good understanding and ability to use relevant technology e.g. PC packages and photocopier.
