Remote Learning Advice for Parents/Carers/Students
Illness:
If your child is ill and not well enough to work we would suggest they instead focus on getting better. Please also encourage your child to have a look at the wellbeing ideas attached to the Toolkit as this is understandably a challenging time for them.
We do not want any child's learning to be at a disadvantage. If your child will struggle to access the resources online please complete the below form so we can look at ways to support your child.
Feedback:
We hope you and your families are well and please do not hesitate in contacting your child's Tutor if you need any support. As you can imagine this is a new approach for all of us therefore there may be teething problems. If you have any feedback at the end of the week please feel free to contact me.
Wellbeing
With the school following school closure guidance, we have created a bank of resources for you to support your child or children during their period of not being in school.
All curriculum information can be found on the parent portal, as normal. However, there is also a section for supporting your child's wellbeing: Wellbeing support
Furthermore, a list of contact numbers and websites for you and your child to use during this time has been provided and students have also been emailed these useful numbers and links.
However, should you have a concern or further questions about your child's wellbeing, please email: cgs-student-support@colstonsgirls.org
This email address can be used by both parents and students and its staff members are the Senior Management Team and the Wellbeing Team. During adjusted working hours and dates, we will be monitoring those emails very closely.
